Ring Ring...
the telephone rang inside,
startingly, and as daisy shook her head decisively at Tom
the subject of the stables, in fact all subjects,
vanished into air. Among the broken fragments of the last five minutes at table
i remember the candles being lit again,
pointlessly,
and i was conscious of wanting
to look squarely at everyone
yet to avoid all eyes.
I couldn't guess what daisy and tom were thinking
but i doubt if even miss baker
who seemed to have mastered a certain hardy skepticism
was able utterly to put this fifth guest's shrill metallic urgency
out of mind.
To a certain temperament the situation might have seemed intriguing--
my own instinct was to telephone immediately for the police.

Money or Love??
No, I would not marry for money because money cannot buy love. It can buy happiness for some people, but not love. At least, not for most people that is. There are some people who allow money to buy their love from them, but not me. The way I see it if you love someone it doesn’t matter if they have all the money in the world or if they have just enough. Love is an emotion that should not be able to bought or forced upon any individual.
To marry someone means that you plan on spending the rest of your life with that person, not that you plan on taking their money and then divorce. There are too many people that pretend to love someone all because they see a way into a better life with more money and opportunities. Marriage is supposed to be a permanent joining of two individuals that could not see themselves with any other person in the world. But in the world today marriage does not have even half that meaning. People today get married and then get divorced ten days later.

Judgement Generation?
Yes outward appearances are deceptive because so many people now a day’s judge people by how they look, with me sometimes included. I happen to judge people, sometimes constantly by how they look. If I see someone for the first time and they look weird or like someone I couldn’t see myself being friends with ill just come up with an excuse to avoid them or not to talk to them. People are too concerned with their outer appearance because of the fact that everyone is judged by how they look. And it’s not just in school but also in the real world. For instance, if you were to go to a job interview and one person is wearing a suit and your wearing sweats and a t-shirt, they would probably hire the one in a suit. What people in America value, I would say is substantial. Because almost everyone cares about nothing but money. My significant others money would not matter to me because if I do not enjoy being with them, then it does not matter how much money they have. As for most people in general, I would think that money and looks matter to them quite a lot.
